How it works
- 01
Add an image
Drop it on the page, paste from the clipboard, or choose a file. It never leaves your browser.
- 02
Frame the crop
Drag the box or its corners. Pick a ratio such as 1:1 or 16:9 to keep it locked while you move.
- 03
Download
The crop is cut from the original pixels, so nothing is resampled or recompressed.
About
What this tool does
This image cropper runs entirely in your browser. Cropping is the simplest edit there is, and it should not require an account, an upload, or a watermark. Add any PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, draw the region you want to keep, and download the result as a PNG.
Use a fixed aspect ratio when the destination demands one: 1:1 for profile pictures and app icons, 4:3 or 16:9 for slides and thumbnails, 9:16 for stories and vertical video covers. Choose Free to crop to any rectangle. The crop is taken from the original pixels at full resolution, so a crop of a 4000-pixel photo is still sharp.
Because the file is read locally, the tool works offline once the page has loaded, and there is no size limit beyond what your browser can hold in memory. For screenshots that need a frame, a background or a device mockup after cropping, open the same image in the editor.

Questions
- No. The selected region is copied from the original pixels and saved as a lossless PNG. Nothing is scaled unless you resize it afterwards.
