    How it works

    1. 01

      Add an image

Drop, paste or choose a file. A palette of its dominant colors appears immediately.

    2. 02

      Point at a pixel

Move over the image to read the exact color under the cursor through the loupe. Click to keep it.

    3. 03

      Copy

Click any HEX, RGB or HSL row, or any palette swatch, to copy it. Use Copy palette for all of them at once.

    About

    What this tool does

An image color picker that reads real pixels. Hover over the picture and a loupe shows the surrounding pixels magnified, so you can land on a one-pixel border or the exact tint of a logo rather than an averaged blur. Click to lock the color and copy it in HEX, RGB or HSL.

Alongside the eyedropper, the tool extracts a palette: the most frequent colors in the image, de-duplicated by perceptual distance so you get genuinely different hues rather than ten shades of the same gray. Set how many colors you want and whether to skip near-black and near-white, which usually come from backgrounds and text.

Everything runs in your browser on a canvas. The image is never uploaded, there is no account, and large photos work because sampling is proportional to size. If you are building a palette for a brand, pair this with the plain color picker to fine-tune a sampled value.

    Questions

Exact. The eyedropper reads the pixel at the cursor from the decoded image, not from a scaled preview. JPG compression artifacts are part of the image, so sample flat areas for brand colors.
